Silence should be explainable
No Action is meaningful when it names the markets examined, the candidates rejected and the predefined gate that failed. A generic absence of recommendations is not enough.
Protective value needs rules fixed in advance
Calling every later loss an avoided loss would be hindsight bias. BetStudio can measure protective value only for entries that were eligible under a predefined counterfactual rule and were explicitly blocked before the event.
- Log the rejected candidate before kickoff.
- Record the failed gate.
- Use the same evaluation window as accepted entries.
- Include blocked winners as well as blocked losers.
No Action can still drive a daily narrative
A daily Brief can say that 184 markets were scanned, three received deep analysis and none satisfied the Entry Gate. That story communicates work, selectivity and restraint without manufacturing a tip.
These guides explain decision concepts. They do not provide a guarantee, individualized advice or an invitation to recover losses.
